The definition of an underrated gem, Mortal Ones Scream In Horror would have been high on my 2021 list if I’d known it existed. It’s only for those who like their death metal grotesque, raw, and centered on pounding percussion.

These Brazilian bad boys mean serious business. They are angry and the songs fast and devastating, sometimes the strong and ripping melodies give the songs a character close to hymns. But the three longest tracks are what makes me really enthusiastic about this album. They are so varied and well written that I can only call them epic.
